    RESEARCH INTERESTS

    New drug discovery is of both intellectual challenge and practical importance. The major goals of Dr. Shias research interest are centralized on two major areas of drug discovery: development of anti-viral drugs against local diseases and anti-obesity agents for treating related metabolic disorder syndrome.

    RESEARCH ACTIVITIES & ACCOMPLISHMENTS

    Dr. Shia has co-authored 50 original papers and co-inventored more than 10 patents.
